The hands behind it

I scope it, build it, and stand behind it.

Not a freelancer, not an agency

Most businesses looking for serious digital work end up choosing between two bad options: a solo operator with a rotating cast of freelancers who vanish mid-project, or a bloated agency with a polished pitch and a senior team on the proposal, while juniors do the actual work and the monthly retainer makes your accountant wince.

I'm the third option: one seasoned operator, a DTC and CRM veteran, doing the core work myself and bringing in a small, vetted team of specialists I've worked with for years when a project calls for it. No account managers, no juniors handed the keys after the pitch, no bench of strangers.

A track record

That combination has delivered everything from complex CRM implementations and multi-market Shopify stores to security overhauls and custom web applications. Different industries, different scales, the same standard every time.

How I work

I work with the best tools available, including AI, and I'm not shy about it. AI in the hands of an experienced craftsman is a force multiplier: faster, sharper, more thorough. What it does not do is replace judgment, taste, or accountability. I use it the way a master woodworker uses a better saw: the craft is still in the hands holding it.

Small, on purpose

I felt thin, like butter scraped over too much bread.

Bilbo Baggins

That is the feeling I avoid. A craftsman spread across too many projects stops being one, so I'm deliberate about how many clients I take on. Fewer clients, deeper engagement, better results.

Nem Puhalo

Nem is a DTC and CRM veteran who has spent his career turning messy business problems into systems that scale: a CRM built around how your sales team actually works, an e-commerce funnel that converts, a roadmap that makes sense beyond the next quarter. He believes most digital problems are process problems in disguise: get the thinking right and the build follows. He is also the founder of the 9 Steps of Email Method.

    Engineering & quality

Dan builds what the plan calls for, then makes sure it holds. As a full-stack engineer and QA lead, he pairs deep engineering capability with a quality mindset most developers only reach for once something breaks. He asks what could go wrong before the first line of code, not out of caution but out of craft. Automated testing, deployment discipline, and clean architecture are his baseline, not extras. What drives him is simple: systems that behave the same on day 500 as they did on day one.

About the name

Elenion is Elvish, from Tolkien. It means “of the stars.” The star in my mark is the rest of it: something steady you can navigate by, that is still there when you look up. That is the kind of system I like to build.

Systems built to last. Start with a conversation.
