Do I really need an accessible website?

Will my site be found on Google and by AI assistants?
That is built in. Clean structure, real text, and the markup that search engines and AI assistants need to understand exactly what you do, including an llms.txt summary (an emerging convention) for AI crawlers. We make you legible to both; ranking and recommendations are never guaranteed. The same things that make a site findable also make it accessible and fast.
Can I edit the site myself?
For most sites you won't need to, and that is the point. We don't bolt on a CMS by default, because editing directly in the code is faster, more reliable, and more secure. When you need a change, we handle it, quickly and affordably, so there is no line of code for you to touch. If you do want to make edits yourself and have the skills, we keep your content in clean, editable MDX files and hand you the code repository when we deliver. The site is yours. The exception is a genuinely content-heavy site, like a news outlet, where a CMS earns its place, and we will set one up. Most businesses don't need one.
Do I actually own the website?
Completely. The code is yours, and we hand over the repository when we deliver. You are never locked into our services or a platform.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Those are rented platforms with monthly fees and shared, template-based code. This is a site built for your business, that you own, that loads faster and is built to a higher standard.
Is it secure?
Yes. Modern security headers, bot and spam protection on your forms, and very few moving parts to attack, no sprawling plugin stack like a typical WordPress site. Less surface area means less to go wrong.
What happens after launch?
You own the finished site outright. From there it is up to you: leave it as it is, or put it on an optional care plan where we keep it current, secure, and improving over time.
