Goran
Goran Đorđević has been our family's driving instructor since 2004. He taught one of us to drive, along with a mum, three sisters, and a good number of friends. More than twenty years behind the wheel teaching B-category candidates across Belgrade, from the quiet streets of Novi Beograd to the Gazela bridge at rush hour, plus refresher lessons for people who hold a license but stopped driving. This one was pro bono start to finish: a small thank-you to someone who's been part of the family for two decades.
His website is his shopfront: his pass-rate record, his plain-language guides to how the exam works, and the form a prospective student uses to reach him.
Our role
We owned the rebuild end to end. The brief was narrow and real: take a tired WordPress site that still ranked and still brought in students, and replace it with something fast, accessible, and cheap to keep running, without losing a single web address or breaking the one thing that earns him work, the contact form.
The challenge
The site was a roughly ten-year-old WordPress install with a contact form bolted on. It worked, but it carried the usual weight: a plugin stack that needed patching, lesson pages that had ranked on Google for years (change their addresses and you throw away a decade of search), a contact form with no real spam protection and no confirmation back to the student, and Serbian content full of diacritics that has to render and get indexed correctly.
What we built
A faithful rebuild on Next.js 16 where every original web address stays exactly where it was: nine pages, same addresses, new engine, nothing broken. The contact form is the product, so we treated it that way. It's screened for spam, then emails Goran the moment someone inquires, with an automatic confirmation back to the student. The owner alert is wired to fail loudly rather than drop a lead quietly. The whole site is genuinely accessible, checked automatically on every change, desktop and mobile, and it's static and server-rendered with almost no JavaScript, so there's nothing to patch weekly and no plugin attack surface.
Results
- Every legacy web address preserved, so no broken links and no lost rankings.
- Genuinely accessible across all nine pages, enforced on every change.
- Inquiries reach Goran instantly, spam-screened, with an automatic confirmation to the student.
- A static site replacing the WordPress/PHP stack: nothing to patch, near-zero client JavaScript.
