What they do
CatHome is a small, no-cages cat boarding house in Belgrade. The cats roam open rooms with a netted terrace, and the owners live on-site, so there's always someone around. They've worked with cats since 2014 and opened to boarders in 2023. It's the kind of place you find by word of mouth and choose because you trust it.
Our role
This one's close to home: CatHome is a family business. We built the site and look after it: the design, the build, and the plumbing behind the contact form. They bring the cats, the photos, and the house rules; we handle the rest.
The challenge
Handing over a pet is an act of trust, so the site's job is reassurance, not spectacle. The booking that counts is a phone call. The form is only a backup, but a missed message is a lost customer, so it can't quietly fail. There was also a short list of things the site must never say (no prices, no payment talk, and a clear line between the boarding house and the family's cattery at the same address), and it all had to be quick, easy to read, and easy to find locally, in Serbian.
What we built
A small, calm site that leads with the phone number and keeps a simple reservation form as the second path. Every inquiry is saved two ways at once, to a shared spreadsheet and as an email to both owners and the guest, so nothing is lost even if one path has a bad day. The old site's web addresses still work, so years of showing up on Google carried over untouched. It's built on Next.js 16, loads fast, and is held to a real accessibility standard that's re-checked automatically on every change.

- Reservations captured two ways, so a booking is never lost.
- Genuinely accessible and quick, with the old Google presence intact.
- Simple enough that the owners can keep it current without us.
